Build real AI tools for Bangkok with a team
Spend a Saturday working with a small team on one local challenge. Meet the owner, build a working tool and show what it can do.
What a build day is
At our monthly build days, teams of two or three work on the selected challenge. The owner gives feedback, teams demo their tools and the winning tool gets a two-week pilot.
Why join
Meet builders, designers and marketers. Ship something a local owner can try, and have a working tool for your portfolio. These three skill groups work together on each team.

Ideas you could take on
Skill to Shelf: say what you can do, get 3 things to sell with prices
A disabled person lists what they can do (draw, cook, sew, edit, speak). The tool suggests three small offers that need no capital, a price range from comparable listings, a photo plan and a ready first post, so the next step isn't 'sell online' but 'list this tomorrow'.
Pill Packet Reader: photograph every bag and box and get one clear daily schedule
The family photographs each medicine bag and box on the table. Claude vision reads names and doses, builds one day schedule in big Thai type, and flags two products with the same ingredient or a drug that a listed kidney condition may rule out, with a note to ask the pharmacist.
Route Finder: 10 questions in, a list of study and funding routes you qualify for out
A teen answers questions about age, school track, who they care for and where they live. The tool lists the routes that fit (กศน., vocational study that leaves time to care, loans, scholarships) with deadlines and what to bring, sorted by how fast money arrives.
Paper Pack: answer 6 questions and get the exact folder to carry to the right office
A family answers a few questions about the person (disability type, bedridden or not, district, social security or not). The tool returns the order of steps (hospital certificate first, then district), the documents to copy, a pre-filled form draft and which benefits to ask for.
Foot Counter: a small camera that counts passers-by and how many stop at the stall
A cheap ESP32 camera on the stall pole counts people on the lane and those who stop within two meters, on the device, without saving faces. After a night the owner sees 'passed 840, stopped 62, bought 31' and can judge a 300 baht spot before paying for a month.
Free Meal Line: call one number and hear the three nearest free meals today
A person with no data and under 200 baht calls one number, says the area, and a Thai voice reads the three closest free meals open today with times and what to bring. Volunteers update the list from a simple sheet, so the line is as fresh as their last phone check.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to be an expert?
- You do not need to be an expert. You apply, and we look for people who have shipped something with AI. Share a working project so we can see what you have made.
- Can designers and marketers join?
- Yes. Teams combine building, design and growth skills. Your application should show something you have shipped with AI.
- Do I need to bring a team?
- No. Approved members RSVP and organizers put together small teams with complementary skills.
- What does it cost?
- Participation is free. Bring your own laptop and the tools you use to build.
- Can I put the work in my portfolio?
- Yes. Teams own their work, and the owner gets free use of the winning tool. Agree with your teammates on credit and what to share.
